Follow the adventures of yellow ball of wool

ok, everyone. apologies for misspelling: So I used a creative spelling of "Cashmere" wool. I only realized that today.

Stay alert and you'll see the super soft fluffy yellow Cashmire Wool ball often in my travel photos! My own version of WHERE'S WALDO.

Mom and I found two great breakfast bistros in Cannon Beac
h, the servings are HUGE even if you order a "light breakfast".

Next photo is the Rusty Tractor Restaurant along the way home from Cannon Beach.
In one coastal town in Oregon we had a good laugh about an information sign along Coastal Highway 101 pointing to the turn off to the Cemetery AND the Recycle Centre. These oldies can always find humour in surprising places.

NEXT PHOTO: In the background of the pioneer woman carved of wood there is our luxury bus which has 55 seats but there were only 17 of us on this trip. We had requested our favourite bus driver, Tom, and this is the bus he always drives!

Some of these small towns without tourism are doing it tough. Their main industries are logging and oyster farming. You could really see that their local economy was hurting when you get away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy coastal towns.
