welcome y'all to my first BLOG EVER.
Cannon Beach, Oregon is a sort of dog-beach paradise. But all the humans are super rugged-up. Cold and windy is the order of the day. The local Pizza shop chef said that he was in shorts and t-shirt yesterday.
Now I'll include a photo of Mom and myself at that very same Pizza place at lunch today.
We've come to Cannon Beach on a huge tour bus with our regular driver TOM. The retirement community where Mom lives has a monthly Bus Tour to somewhere fun. A baseball game at Safeco Field in Seattle or a theatre production or Vancouver Canada..... This trip is a treat from Mom. We have two nights here in Cannon Beach. There are only 18 of us in a bus that will hold 45 comfortably.
After dinner this evening we're all off to a Pulitzer Prize winning play, Crimes of the Heart at the local playhouse. Tomorrow we have a lot of free time after a tour of the Tillamook Cheese and ice cream factory. oh, also a visit to a blimp museum, the largest wooden structure/blimp hangar.
